This is an introductory course of statistics and probabilities.
This online course is a complementary resource to the information taught in class. Its main purpose is to help students learn better and faster allowing them to structure their learning in accordance with their own schedule. It allows a more flexible learning schedule and also helps students with a different background keep up with the material.
This course is created in collaboration with Caampus 02 from Graz, Austria. It is taught entirely in English.
In order to succesfully graduate from this course you need to have a decent command of the English language. Also, you need basic math skills like algebra. In order to succesfully complete the lab work you need to know how to use Microsoft Excel at a basic level.
Is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Machine Building (TUCN). He will be the lead instructor of this course. He has a fove year experience teaching Statistics and Quality Management to students of Industrial Engineering and Economic Industrial Engineering.
Selver Softic obtained his Master in Informational and Computer Engineering and his PhD in Informatics at Graz University of Technology. He worked several years in Software Industry and in Research in last 17 years participating at national and european projects. Since 2014 he is working at CAMPUS 02 University of Applied Sciences and since 2016 he teaches Information Systems with focus on Business Intelligence and Reporting at the degree programme „Business Informatics“.
Marius Bulgaru is a teacher at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. He's fields of expertise are Quality Management and Statistics. For this course he is a consulting professor.
